Sterilization

Area 51 is part of the North Bay sterilizer monitoring system.
All sterilizers are checked monthly.

 

All needles are 100% sterilized and are used once and only once. After usage they are placed in a clearly marked bio-hazardous container and then sent to a medical waste site to be disposed.

All equipment and furniture used during a tattoo are wrapped/covered in impervious plastic. After completion of tattoo, all equipment and furniture is sprayed with Sanimaster (contents: water, Didecyl, dimethyl ammonium chloride, N-Alkyl, and dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride) and then wiped clean.
